New Addition Fabric-Covered Easel Back 6/29/2011
Raphael's new Custom Easelbacks make it possible to display smaller pieces of framed art on a desk or table top. Wrapped with any of our fabrics and made to fit the outside dimension of your framed art or photograph, they present a way to have your piece be the focus of any tabletop arrangement. In the pictures above, we have our custom Linen-covered Easelback supporting a 3" wide Panel Liner covered the same Natural Linen and then framed with one of our classic Canarywood Float Frames.

New Additions Panel Liners 6/1/2008-6/30/2011
Although Raphael's first introduced the revolutionary Panel Liner about three years ago, we continue to find more and more ways to incorporate them into the Framing Package. Imagine being able to create Liners with all the features previously only available in Mats (multiple openings, weighted borders, non-rectangular shapes) but with a greater variety of thickness' (1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", and 1-3/16") and without the 40" X 60" size limitation of Mat Boards. We can make Panels in sizes up to 48" X 96" and even larger in certain boards. Panel Liners are the most versatile, customizable, enhancement of Art that we have ever offered. Liners can now be round, oval, octagon, triangular or even the shape of a Christmas Tree inside and out. They can have areas routed out to receive medallions or name plates and can be cut with any one of 6 different inside edges (click here to see edge design features). Best of all, though the combination of this new technology and a whole new substrate results in a far better quality Liner, it actually sells for less.
