START WITH SOME GOOD DISPLAY PIECES
Nothing speaks more effectively about the way in which custom-wrapped mats or liners can enhance and personalize any framing project than having a few good examples on display. We know how tough it is to find the time for this sort of thing, so we've got a SPECIAL OFFER we hope will help you with this. The next time you come up with a framing design that includes one of our Continuous-Covered Liners or Panels, that you think might be worth duplicating for your store, we'll make you two of that piece for the price of one. There are a few conditions to this offer. First, this offer good only once per customer and only for pieces where the outside united inch total is below 50". Second, the fabric must be one of our 300, 400 or 500 series Linens.. Other than that you only need to mention "Display Deal" when you place your order and we'll include the second piece FREE. Good displays show your skills and imagination and show customers the value of true custom framing. They are the best way to immunize your customers against "50% off fever" that comes from reading too many newspaper inserts.
REFERENCE SAMPLES VERSUS SALES TOOLS
From our basic reference tool, the collection of fabric swatch books we call our Source Book (shown above) to our custom-wrapped Fabric Mat and Liner Corners, all Raphael's samples are produced in house. We know that to be of any value to you and your customers they can't be anything less than perfect.
Next to each of the Samples and Samples Packages described below is its cost. We do not provide free samples. For those who are already buying from Raphael's however, we have created our Perpetual Samples Fund to help defray some or all of this cost. For every $150 in product you purchase from us, we add $1.00 to your Perpetual Samples Account. These "Perpetual Samples Dollars" can be used toward the purchase of any samples product or package. They accumulate automatically and do not expire. Every year when we send out Product Updates we remind you of your accumulated balance. Most active Raphael's customers generate sufficient Perpetual Samples Credits each year to cover most or all of their samples costs.
The Source Book $70.00
3 X 6" swatches of our entire fabric selection, organized by fabric type in swatch books which slide into pockets within a three-ring binder. Compact and portable, the individual swatch books can be opened to include new additions or to remove discontinued fabrics. Every Source Book is updated free of charge each year and a $15.00 product credit is posted to your account upon payment of the samples invoice. See images above and below.
Custom-Wrapped Mat Corners
Every one of our Mat Corner samples is hand-wrapped, to insure the grain is straight and
the corners are sharp, then backed with a label that gives you important details about the fabric. These are samples that you will be proud to show your customers.

While we think of our Source Book as an excellent all around reference tool, our custom-wrapped Mat Corner samples will definitely help you sell more of this sort of product. There's no hard sell involved, the value will speak for itself if given the chance. In the same way that a few good display pieces will help your clients see the value of custom enhancements, having a few custom-wrapped corners in your mat rack, and including them among your design suggestions, will result in sales. Fabric-wrapped mats have a richness of color and texture that simply cannot be duplicated in a paper mat. When customers see the difference, they see the value.
